Sonya White lives in Chicago these days, but she hasn't forgotten where she came from.  The comedic material she presents in "Southern Fried Chicks" springs directly out of her childhood experiences in Virginia.

Sonya also appears as a solo act at corporate events, casinos, colleges and comedy clubs.  When she's working alone she expands her repertoire to include material that springs from her adult life in the urban world. But whether she's talking about her childhood in the South or whistling down a cab in a major city, Sonya is always a breath of fresh air.
